The rear garage door leak really bad in heavy rain, the rain runs down from the roof about halfway along the door under runs under the frame and into the garage. I reported it on both the first have and the second one nothing was done and mostly we have been lucky with the weather. But here at out cottage in France the van has been parked up for a while and every time it rains the boot gets flooded. I have tried draft excluder tape of various designs but have now resorted to making a drain hole during last nights heavy rain there was over 2 litres in the bucket, which was in under the van and out of the rain.

Turns out mine were never fitted from new and not picked up at each of the 4 damp checks great customer service !!!!

Just heard from Southdowns, spent £83000 on a brand new van, rear garage doors have let rain in since new (2019) and now want £54 each plus vat to hopefully fix it !!

If they were aware of it from new, or soon after, shouldn't it be done under warranty?

At the very least, not fit for purpose when sold.

My garage doors are like that and I was told this is how Burstners leave the factory.

Not satisfied I wrote a polite letterto Burstner direct, received an email today stating although not a warranty issue. As they are not fitted as standard, they as a gesture of goodwill they are sending them FOC
