Not a lot - since 2020
Hi,
I want to get a towing eye for my 2007 Hymer B544 and it would appear that their are two sizes - one being longer than the other.
Having had a grovel in the dirt it looks to me that I need the shorter towing eye.
Could anybody do me a favour and measure theirs to give me an idea of the length I need ?

In addition, if you ever need to be towed out of the grass from the rear, where is the best place to connect the tow rope to ?

Regards
P

Normally use the longer eye on an A Class to make sure it's clear of the GRP front end.
Don't let anyone tow you from the rear as you would have to connect right underneath to the main chassis. The rope is lightly to snag on the body panels/rear bumper etc., causing damage.

Hi,
After a lot of searching I found the towing eye - the previous owner had tie-wrapped it to a gaslow bottle.
It is the normal length and appears to be just right.
Regards
P
