OK, any comments on this campervan, and what would you expect to pay for one in good nick.

Eagerly awaiting your comments.

Nice conversion, it will be Eberspacher diesel heating which on that era van uses a lot of power, the reason Murvi changed around 2009 to Webasto.
The Eberspacher drew around 17amps on start up on our 2005 Murvi and then it used to modulate/cycle every so often using lots more power. Check whether the heating has ever had a service as most people don’t usually bother with it on diesel heating

insulation in the Murvi is just 2 bit cheap loft insulation but it’s a well made conversion. It has a decent resale value as they are quite sought after.

There was a Fiat paintwork fault on the silver vans which I think most of them of that era were, the roof on ours needing painting and also rear area above back doors so check the paintwork carefully, it literally peels off in places.

Check van thoroughly, everything is working correctly, blinds are the smooth pull up type and can go faulty/crease and not close properly.

Check tyres for date and whether it’s got engine service history and habitation history and when either was last done.

Awesome, thank you. I guess a lot depends on what price I can get it for, I know the current owner of around 10 years, one owner before that.

Getting a pro body repair guy looking at it this evening, to see what it would take to get it back to mint. I don’t expect much change from £3K tbh, but if, and it’s a big if, I can get it for less than £12K, it might be worth it.

The lady has said it a 175BHP engine!……..Would that be right?

If it's a T5 with the 2.5 TDI PD engine, it can either be 129bhp or 172bhp.
