I need to fit a buzzer / warning device to my indicators as the flasher unit "click" is too quiet. Can someone tell me where the flasher unit is located and how to get to it?
Best regards
Mervyn

It could be in the main fuse box under the dash, passenger side for r/h drive. Think it is K11. Replace relay and it should click. This is only what I have been told but worth a try.

As said. It will be in the dash as it’s the relay that makes the (in your case too quiet) click sound. So fit your ear trumpet for a bit, turn on your indicators and the click will show you where it is. 😉😉

Well, I've found it!!! Like so many things these days, Fiat have taken a relatively simple system and made it more complicated. For the info of anyone else wanting to find the flasher unit on a Ducato 244. It's now part of the PCB that is attached to the switch assembly in the centre of the cab that includes the hazard warning switch. I assume that if any fault occurs with any part of that assembly the whole thing will have to be replaced unless you're an electronics wizard.

Any pics

Yep,pics please as I have the same problem ……..unless I’m going deaf.

The Funsters patented solution about how you can cure this issue, without stripping the dashboard down.

Yes its built into the centre switch block. At one time I wanted to add an extra warning light ( low washer bottle) and drilled for the led in the blank nearest driver, only to find its not a blank and covers part of the pcb.
I agree the flasher tick isnt very loud but when I then looked into driving something off the indicator switch( using diodes) I gave up and just decided to pay more attention and listen harder!
If you need to get to it I did it after sliding out the radio and its sleeve.

I took the instrument binnacle off and cut into the wire going to each indicator bulb and wired in low powered buzzers bought on flea bay. Hell of a noise when you put the hazard lights on though 😳

I've wired a cheapo buzzer into the plug on the rear of the switch unit. Had to tape around the buzzer to quieten it down as it was so loud.
Problem solved.
