Morning Rob rob allen ,

The advice you've been given here is but the tiniest tip of the biggest info. Iceberg that can be found on ALL aspects of motorhoming.

Before your next problem, (and by then you will have run out of 'free' posts) do yourself a favour, spend the best £15 you will ever spend and join Fun.

Hello, and :WelcomeFlag: from Wiltshire. Hope you get your problem sorted.

What did this electronic box do? Was it between the two floors or under the second one and open to the elements? I am surprised that anybody could get easy enough access to the Electrobloc, which should be between the the floors. Never heard of one being stolen before.

Hi peter the box went missing anywhere between Spain and UK as it was getting ship back companies we where dealing with are blaming each other an so on😡

Could you post a photo of the area where the box is missing from, then we fellow N&B owners can maybe point you in the right direction.
Cheers

Sorry Rob don’t see any similarities to my setup, the wires at the top with the white multi plugs look like 240 volt supplies and the large red and black are obviously 12volt leads an unusual mix unless it was a factory fitted invertor. What systems if any still work on the vans electrics, for example does the control panel function.

FYI Here’s images of my main electrical components.i have 2014 Arto76f<Broken link removed><Broken link removed>

I have a feeling that might not have been a standard Niesmann part especially with the UK 3 pin plug, does the main van panel switch on?

Rob,

Just noticed on the classifieds you're after an EBL 4 so assume that's the one that's missing? Whilst I can't help with a replacement one, a friend of mine 'made' a replacement whilst his was being repaired. He put together a step by step guide if it is of any use as below.....

They re normally fitted with CBE not Elektroblock.

Form the wiring was it an inverter of some kind? I agree with martin the UK plug would suggest its not standard but then the white cables with Blue and Brown core is typical of N&B of that era. Are they marked?

Welcome.

I have a N&B 69GL (2003).

The probes you show a photo of are designed to detect water levels at 1/4 1/2 3/4 and full tank which is why on the guage above the door when one presses the LH switch to position 1 for fresh water tank the needle does not show percentage but only the nearest setting as I listed.

If you have still got the sensor rods out give them a good clean as getting furred up is usually the reason for them not working.

I have resorted to checking the level in the tank when filling or if we are nearly empty by unscrewing the 6" plastic inspection cover and dipping my hand/finger in.

Have you got a N&B manual for the Arto (in English)? You should find most things you need to know in there - well-written manuals.

Geoff
