Hi all,
We've booked our 2020 ferry (Hull to Zeebrugges), and are looking at routes. This year we crossed at Calais, and drove 2000+ miles going to the Vendee, Loire, Normandy etc. amongst other places. How does this sound for a route from Zeebrugge:
Stop-overs at:
Dunkirk
Ardennes
Luxembourg
Maastricht
Brussels

We felt like we drove too far last year, and this represents a loop with a maximum of 1.5-2 hours between stops. It contains countryside to relax us, then some sight-seeing in eg Brussels and Bruges.
Does it look good? Any suggestions for amendments to our itinerary? any other suggestions? We're travelling as a family, and aren't too keen on aires as the kids like campsite facilities. But any analysis or alternatives would be welcome, only the ferry is booked.
