B544 Talbot 1990
Hi
We've just bought our 1990 Hymer B544 Talbot and are looking for the correct adapter to refill the tank.
It looks like you connect to the bit behind the red plastic cap. Measures 24mm internal diameter, so including threads is probably 25mm.
What will we need to refill the log and where's the best place to get it from??
Thanks in advance

Er, that's the pressure relief valve. The filler is whatever is at the end of pipe coming out of the right hand fitting.

BTW, the tank looks past its prime. Not quite sure if the 10 year inspection rule actually applies, but I'd think it would be worth doing it in any case.

What he said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The red plastic cap covers the pressure relief valve to stop dirt entering.

As above, thats the relief valve. Follow the connection below and you should find an auto gas connection to fill at a petrol station

Every day's a school day!!! Will do some more investigating and get back to you.....
Not sure on tank either, so will contact local place for inspections and testing.

The connection you find should look like this....sometimes they're hidden but if you follow the pipe you'll find it

Found it after a brief search (in the right place this time).
There's a threaded bit that I screw one of those type adapters in to.
Seems to fit ok.
Problem solved and very much appreciated those who took time to share their knowledge.

Does it also have a built in bayonet? That is the most common, as per picture by Jake vE. However, if it is a grey import, it could be anything.
