Short notice but plan to work from the moho with a laptop and a add on screen - won’t be on EHU and need a 12v to 2x3pin adaptor ? Any recommendations (hopefully from Amazon prime as I need it for Friday )

Ditto………

I'm assuming a mains inverter with two 13A sockets to plug in the laptop charger and monitor.

If it's right that an inverter is what is wanted, you'll ideally want a pure sine wave inverter, with ideally a rating at least twice your load so you're not driving things too hard. I've had good luck with these Amazon product ASIN B07G2VL2WP but they aren't cheap. I've used them to run a big (32 inch) monitor and a full blown gaming PC (1kW load) - not for gaming, but graphics intensive work - with no issues. You need to wire it to your battery, not plug in to a cigarette lighter socket.

Put 12v laptop power supply in Amazon.

For my laptop I use a cigarette 12v to 19v basic adaptor, no problem just get the right one for the laptop.

Yes, the ideal is to run direct from 12V via a simple adaptor cutting out the mains power supply if you can - the inverter adds power losses both going up to 240V, then back down to the level needed by the laptop and monitor via their power supplies. Not all monitors have a DC input and external power supply though.
The inverter is more flexible, but does waste some power.

Probably cheaper buying a single output inverter and use a two gang extension lead.
As said, a pure sine wave inverter or you could damage both the laptop and monitor
It's a lot of money for very limited use.
Don't forget, whatever you take out of the battery needs putting back in.
With no hookup how will you recharge the battery ?

From the solar panel and frugal use - don’t intend to work that much :-)

I think a 2000W inverter is a bit over the top for powering a laptop and screen, I'm sure 500W or even 300W would be perfectly adequate. And less wasted power too. The higher the inverter power, the higher the background wastage. It's not so bad for short bursts of high power, but it's especially important when using lower power than the inverter maximum, for a long time.

An average laptop power adaptor is 120W or less, and an average screen about the same.

I use one of these, works a treat. Just plug into a convenient 12v cigarette lighter type socket.

What do people use to isolate the inverter from the 12v feed when not in use? I am talking about when you have it connected via some chunky leads. I would like to install an inverter but only have limited requirement, so I dont really want a continual drain all the time.

Ours has a remote lead &switch fitted which is easy accessible in the MH , loads of inverters have the option to install a remote switch , as yes if left on just idle ours uses about 1amp which can sure add up if left on 24/7

The on/off switch on the inverter will cut down the idling power usage to almost zero, as Bart says, and some inverters have a remote switch that does the same more conveniently. If you want to totally disconnect, one of these will do the job, preferably mounted near the battery.

How about one of these ..

and one of these?

Amazon product ASIN B07W5DD6M9
.. saves jacking it up to 240v then back down again.
Trevor I think it might come with a 12v supply , looks like a tidy TV , nearly tempted to upgrade ours

Yep, I saw that - already got a 12v TV, else I'd be having one.

I don't have an inverter in our van so I use a 12volt lead for my laptop and an Asus portable monitor for the second monitor. They don't take up any space and take power from your laptop.
