Hi

Can anyone recommend a 12V Satellite receiver, set top box style?

I see that newer 240V/12V TVs come with an integrated HD receiver these days, but I would like to replace our 240V/12V non-HD box with a 240V/12V HD receiver and keep the our existing MEOS HD TV ( and our Sky Box when we're connected to 240V).

Thanks

oh I've just spotted StewartJ's post asking a similar question, I'm looking for an HD 12V receiver. StewartJ I'll be selling our non-HD receiver if I find one ;-)

Anyone got this one, it talks of upscaling ?:

In addition to a Sky box, we have one of these in the van.

About the size of a cigarette packet, weighing only 399 grams, it gives great HD pictures. We used it on 19E whilst down in Spain.

It can connect direct into the TV's HDMI socket, or as I have done, its tucked out of the way on a 1m extension. It has a magic eye for the remote which can be placed in a convenient spot.

Its's a great wee HD receiver..:thumb:

Thanks Callum , seems to be out of stock or not available. Does it work on 28.2E as well as 19E?

Thanks.

I've had this a long time and superb for the price
.

The maxview looks to be a bargain!

This model will only work on 28E, it is set for UK TV only, and you will need to make your own 12V lead and plug.
