Hi
I have an elderly Avtex W102D TV that requires a 12v freeview box to allow it to operate the current one has ceased to work.
I have now bought a larger 24 Cello TV which I am very pleased with.
Does any one have 12v freeview box they no longer need seems ashame for the Avtex to be redundant
Thankyou

enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
plenty of them on ebay etc. most of the chinese ones are <12v so you would need an adapter, but some come with cigarette lighter leads, so should be ok

This one is 5v but it's easy enough to buy a 12v to 5v adapter. https://cpc.farnell.com/antiference/dvbv01/dvbt-t2-mini-terrestrial-receiver/dp/AP03291

It's free to air rather than Freeview though, so you don't get the full EPG, just 'now and next'. It is HD, so would presumably work in France, and it can be tucked away, with a remote extender included in the box.

I used it for a while with the rather odd TV (satellite only) which came with our van and it worked well enough. I've now got a Cello instead of the old TV, so it's not in use, but with a new one being less than £30 delivered, it probably isn't worth me selling it.
