We are due to upgrade our home broadband to fiber, I was wondering about adding a cctv camera inside the van.. Does anyone sell a 12v wifi cctv camera?

Why 12 v ??
Most run off a USB plug, so just use a cigarette / hella adapter to usb. (y)

I used Ring cameras in my ‘van - battery operated, although USB power is also an option…..(y)

First thing to check, if you're intending to connect the camera to your home Wifi, then do you get a decent Wifi signal in the van.
I use a D-Link Tapo C200 Wifi camera in our van (when at home), this runs off 9v so I use a USB voltage booster to boost 5V -> 9V for the camera.

I have a Blink camera in the RV linked to onboard Mifi so can access and set movement trigger any time I have a good signal.

I was contemplating something similar for when my MH is parked up on storage site. I was wondering how to power the MiFi though without leaving on the Master Control panel power on.

I leave my 12v systems on but turn off water pump separately. That gives me a 12v socket that used to be for satellite to power my mifi.

We have a Ring camera tied to the Ring alarm, it uses z-wave which has a much better distance. This doesn't work when we leave the house though, but it's for monitoring (and motion triggers house alarm) when we're away without the van.

Many home CCTV systems are 12v running via transformers even the nvr's are 12v.Take a proper look at listings on eBay (one eg Zosi)
