Avantgarde 100
Hi Everyone, We are newbies to Motorhomes as getting to old to keep faffing around towing caravans !
To get started we have bought a 2002 Compass Anantgarde 100. Now, for the life of me I can't get any of the 12v systems to liven up. The leisure battery is 100%, The switch down low by the door is on (as are all the 240v breakers) but nothing works. I have checked the 15A fuse in the box under the side bunk and that's OK .
Any suggestions would be most welcome !!

Is there a battery selector switch on the control panel marked Van (habitation battery) and Car (starter battery) , if so and it is in the off (centre) position it cuts both the 12v supplies off

Hi -- Thanks for this. I'm not sure ! I Think it's on Van but I'll go and check now.

Where are you in the country? Someone on the forum might live close by and can come and have a look?

30a fuse near battery
Hi, Would that be hidden in the battery locker, because I have traced the wires that come from the battery locker to the fuse box and the main fuse is 15A and is OK

There may be a cable junction box between the leisure battery and the fuse box and it could be worth checking that its connections are ok.
Is there any 12v power if you select Car (starter battery) at the switch ?

It's usually within 30 cm or so of the leisure battery.
