Hiya folks, here I come with another (you probably think) dumb question but not very clued up with electrics I thought I'd better check with the ones in the know. Will I have any success running a small 12 v travel kettle off my two leisure batteries whilst parked up ? We have solar panels.

If you know the wattage of the kettle then you can work out how much power it will use and if you know the output of your panels, you will get an indication of how long it might be before that power is replaced.

If look at the wattage of the kettle and check the wiring is up to that current. I'd also look at the capacity of the kettle and try to figure out how long it's going to take to boil and if you think it's worth waiting that long and buying it to save a pretty small amount of gas
