it would be nice to think the different Municipalities are finally reacting to the huge demand for the parking of Motorhomes and with the current trend of Moving/Banning them from many so called wild spots they have to have somewhere to go, here's hoping.

Just calculated the number of pitches on the existing 18 campsites the announcement quotes.

It is 818 average per campsite. That is huge to me. I wonder if by places they meant places for people, but how would they estimate number of people per unit?

Direct quote from the article,

"Currently, the Region has 18 campsites, with 14,731 places, and 10 more are being processed exclusively for the motorhome sector."

Therefore it would appear that the Region are talking about Areas, (or Aires)
