I’ve posted this image before but I did not mention the car park in the distance is £3 for the day to 9pm. No over night parking though. Charmouth. Nice stop if you are interested.

We parked there a couple of weeks ago for the day.
However the machine and the sign on the gate show a max weight of 3.050t . We paid our £3 and took a chance. Half dozen other vans parked during the day. I looked at the other grass car park behind the visitor centre and that also shows the same weight limit.

What do you think of the width of 75-2 going around Scotland.
It is noticeable, looking at rear camera view and mirrors, found ourselves on the white line with not alot to spare on the verge side either, but that was only on the really rural roads. Only had one incident where an MH renter was so busy waving to us he was drifting over the central double whites, had to take evasive action against the gorse bushes on the verge, but nothing a little T-Cut and elbow grease didn't sort out. Did find that the extra torque from the 160bhp engine made slow switch back hill roads very easy, got stuck behind a bunch of cyclists for a good few bends, but was able to leave in 2nd and the pick up was fine. Our old van would've been a constant battle between 1st and 2nd!!
