E&P Hydraulics Levellers fitted by SAP at Doncaster

I had thought that the thorough level of service I got at SAP Doncaster was a thing of the past, very professional - courteous, good humoured, well informed, things well explained, great attention to detail - something quite rare these days.

Mick and his team kept me informed throughout the process and offered a comfortable waiting area with heating, toilet, wifi, tv, kettle, coffee/tea etc, which was available all day long. You can overnight in his secure compound which is brightly lit and covered by security cameras whilst the job is done. Mick estimated that the work would take a day and a half and that's exactly what it took. I feel you can trust a job that is done at SAP and I'm thinking of returning to them later in the year for some suspension work.

Mick has built motorhome demonstrators for people like Dometic and has done chassis alterations so he knows how they are put together. This makes him a go-to guy for all things motorhome as well as VB Air Assistance and VB Full Air suspension, which he fits to service vehicles like ambulances.

Just had the E&P Levelling System fitted by Out & About Caravan & Motorhome Services, Nr. Peterborough.
Only tried it once or twice in the drive, not in real world conditions, and it's looking good.
I like to praise Chris and David Hayes at Out & About for the service I received.

As part of my decision making process in choosing an automatic levelling system (which included visits to the NEC & Malvern Motorhome Show amongst others!) I called Mick at SAP and asked if it would be possible to visit his premises and see a van with the E&P system fitted. This was no problem whatsoever and, as he appears to not know what time to finish on an evening, visiting him at gone 6pm was also a bonus.

Being able to meet Mick in person, see at first hand his workshop facilities, fitting method, vans in progress and a finished working system on a van helped me greatly in deciding where to spend my money.

In my opinion the E&P system is first class, the price is what it is (pretty much anywhere) the only factor to consider is to who you trust to do the work taking into account, their knowledge of the system, experience, attention to detail etc. etc. And in that regard the decision is ultimately yours.

The reason Mick at SAP garners so many good reviews and people travel the length and breadth of the country to use his services is because he is the go to man for E&P (and VB for that matter!). He is a proper engineer with a long history in the motorhome trade his skill and knowhow is second to none and he is the number 1 dealer for the product.

I would advise anyone (anywhere) who is considering having the E&P system fitted to at least go along and meet Mick and his team at SAP as part of your decision making process; thereafter, you put your money down where you see fit.

Just to conclude that Mick fitted full VB Air Suspension on our tag-axle motorhome alongside the E&P system. This was a job which required a feat of engineering many a fitter would have walked away from before even starting......but Mick likes a challenge!

Had our EP system fitted 18 months ago never regretted the expense since, they were fitted by Court Conversions at Tiverton, Devon.
    Tel. 01884 256048 Email. Sales@coutsideconversions.co.uk
For those of you that live down South like us,Graham and his team provided all the help and information on where to install the pumps etc and carried out the installation in a competent and tidy manner as expected of EP installers. We had a box fitted under the skirt to accommodate all the works which suited us well as did not take up any storage space, the system has auto or manual level and with the push of a button you are set up, it’s very easy to level manually and does not take much longer the jacks have large round swivel plates as a foot and you don’t need to worry about sinking unless on very soft ground, there are fail safes to prevent driving off before jacks have been lifted, the extra weight they add is somewhat compensated by not having to carry blocks and levelling ramps and also the vehicle jack.
I would not hesitate to recommend the system or the fitters and well worth the money.

Decided after some thought to go the whole hog and have E&P levelling system along with full air suspension fitted and what a great choice of company and product to pick.
After chatting with Mick and Jill several times to arrange when to have it fitted due to having some health problems nothing was to much trouble to rearrange my booking, so when we did manage to get to SAP LTD in Doncaster we had the use of their loan car for 4 days and toddled off to Blackpool for a hotel break, we left the motorhome with them early Monday morning and received a call from Jill on Thursday to tell us the work was complete and ready as arranged to collect on the Friday.
On collection Darren and Mick went through the systems with me and explained everything as many times as i asked, and when we did leave their workshop it was with the knowledge that if there was anything that I wasn't quite sure of that the assistance was just a phone call away.
What a great company and team of dedicated professionals.
Would certainly recommend the company to fellow owners that require the systems they supply.

E&P Levelling System installed by SAP Ltd

    Hi all,
Had my tag axle van in at SAP ltd on Monday/Tuesday 10th and 11th October. A really good experience. Mick, Darren, Mike and Jill are a truly professional team. I arrived at 08.15, welcomed by Mick, who then took a quick look round the van. Given that it is a 5 tonner and was sloping towards the front, suggested we discuss the change out of the standard factory suspension springs to something firmer - which would ensure the van was not bouncing on the 'rubbers'. I must admit, I took some persuading, but following the logic of his discussion, it made a lot of sense. This work was undertaken and then the E&P leveling system was installed over the next day and a half. Stayed overnight in the yard - which actually works out really well, as Mick provides a good toilet/restroom facility. Darren talked me through the use of the system once it was fully installed - a job done very thoroughly with care and professionalism. I drove home with a much improved ride system. Once home, parked on my small drive with slopes in all directions and extended the levelling system and then put my apple phone on the table using the spirit level app - perfect in all directions. A big recommendation from me to Mick and the team at SAP. Will be going back for the towbar later in the year....

Excellent product and a must have for motorhomes fitted with full air suspension. Without it you get rocked around like a ferry on a rough sea.
Had my first system fitted at E&P factory in Amsterdam and met both Eric (E) & Pier (P) who have a great understanding of the system and the needs of the motorhome owners.
Second system has been fitted by SAP in Doncaster. Mick sets the standards within the motorhome industry that others should strive to achieve. He provides first class engineering practices, understands the product inside out and offers almost 24/7 customer support.

Best thing since sliced bread. Wouldn't be with out it. On our van when we bought it, albeit it hadn't been fitted very well. Went to see Mick at SAP and he re-routed all the hydraulics, cured a weep on the hydraulic pump and ensured that deployment and retraction connections were working from the Mercedes Air hand brake. Old adage - 'you get what you pay for'.

We had the E&P system fitted to our new tag axle earlier this year. Always said if we got another tag axle it would have to have one of these systems.
Know its expensive, but anyone whos had a tag and tried to get it level, particularly on one side, will know what I mean.
Now so simple, no stress or arguements on site when trying to get on blocks etc.
As already said, auto will take it higher than manual. So I tend to use manual now.
Fitted by Conrad Anderson who did a superb job, very tidy.

Had these fitted a few years ago to our 6t Flair, easy levelling on Auto or Manual, Auto goes a bit higher than manual and if the slope is too much it won’t level on Auto so you need block and do it manual.

Installation by Mick at SAP Doncaster was really tidy above and beyond E&P training level, great backup if you need it.

OK at around £5k it’s a lot of money “but your worth it”
