Just had full air fitted and have e&p levelling
When you drop to lower position on air and level manually do you push the spanner button on the remote
Told on handover but can’t remember so thought I’d ask people who know , thanks john

Mick at SAP told me recently (after having a VB Airbag replaced) that ideally you should always try and level using the auto setting on the E&P Levellers, but if you need to do it manually, place the VB Suspension in service mode beforehand otherwise it tries to fight against the E&P Levellers. He also said it’s not great to have all 4 wheels off the ground…….

strange, can only go by what he said as I always lowered the VB to parking mode first and said not to. I also use to lower the E&P manually a lot of the time as auto was never level, so he talked me through how to reset the correct level on the remote.

Maybe it is just my type of VB Air. It’s full air on a Fiat Chassis fitted at SAP along with the E&P back in late 2018…..apparently the air suspension bags are rare on that model, so much so that unfortunately 1 blew up recently and the air bag alone was over £700 just for the part……all in all it cost me £1150 fitted along with a service on the E&P/VB systems…..

How did the bag blow did Mick tell you?

It blew up while I was driving! no known cause, it was assumed something on the road. But apparently it happens same with HGV’s etc. that have same systems. Some on the forum even carry spare air bags. But when I told him how I was using the E&P he said that using it in manual without putting the VB in service mode can sometimes cause the bag not to return back to its position correctly. I don’t think that was what caused mine to blow as I’d driven +300 miles back from Devon when it blew and would’ve thought it would have done that way before covering that distance.

Hi had an AL-KO hy4 levelling system fitted to my Burstner ixeo on a fiat Ducato chassis.
I would like VB full air 2c fitted to the rear axle but there seems little room between the footplate and the rear face of the chassis (11.25inches) to fit the air bag.
wondered if any one has the same set up.
