I’ve fitted 2nd light fitting over the cab area and tested it off battery pack, just got to run wires through overhead cupboards and connect to 12 volt junction box.

@Neckender ... you do realise that when you get mozzies in your van it's gonna be a b*gger to get rid of them now as they'll 'hide' in between the light fitting and the cover and laugh at you!!!! :D2

Couple of new mods today,
Folded the bed frames up and the screw holding the overhead buckle ripped out and first picture shows the small screw fitted.

So I drilled the overhead shelf and fitted stainless bolts and stainless penny washers, the buckles are now very solid.

The second mod I’ve done is to fit an isolation switch to the water pump because when drained down and taps left open for the colder weather I’ve turned the 12 volt control panel on and the pump as been running dry, now I can isolate the pump.

Alufox.pl, is that expensive stuff?
Is it easily removeable?
Are you using the van with or without the water system?

eBay £40 for 6sq m which is not expensive for a great product. I will not be using the water system when skiing, I’m normally on a site when skiing so will use the facilities and bottled water on board.

The covers are fixed to the doors using Velcro only on the tabs that go round the sides of the doors and on the top edge, so on off in 2/3 mins.

Still need to trim the top half (the part you see when in the van) with beige coloured velour or carpet trim to make it feel warmer.

Today I’ve fitted a pair of 30 led switchable lights in the storage area under the bed of our Campscout, I’ve also fitted the original living area light fitting into the bathroom which is now a lot brighter and can now be switched off separately from the shower lights, the lighting in our van is 100% better and brighter than original fitted lights.
When I’ve tidied up tomorrow I’ll post some pictures.

Fully insulted rear doors ready for our first ski trip in a PVC after Christmas. Now I have to make one for the big sliding door only this one will be attached to the van body not the door.
If you have some of the insulation left make some 'infils' for your camper acrylic windows to fit between the inside of the window and the concertina blind, it's surprising just how much heat they help to keep in, same with your skylights too. As a bonus in summer they help keep the heat out!

Been away John so late in replying. You have to push the duvet into the middle in order to raise the electric bed.

Has anybody modified the tall thin kichen cupboard like that in roadscout? The one below the sink. In globecars brochure they show ironed shirts hanging in it!

I assume you mean this:

Not sure what you want to do to it but there's no reason you couldn't put in some shelves instead, that's what I did with the upper wardrobe in our FamilyScout L:

Thanks Minxy girl. That is indeed the cupboard. At the moment the van is new so I am reluctant to undertake any permanent changes. Hence the request for ideas.

What wood are your shelves and how did you support them?

Some info on the below on what I used for the larder shelves in the Accent, the beauty of the way I did it was that I could quickly remove the shelves if I wanted to use it as a wardrobe again and there were only 4 small holes for each shelf's support 'pegs':

I picked our van up today from SAP Doncaster after they fitted hydraulic levellers to it, can’t wait for next trip to have a play.

Today I’ve fitted a double 4.1 amp usb charger with separate isolation switch in the bathroom of our Campscout so that I can now charge toothbrushes and my razor when off hook up.
Plus it’s out of the area of the shower.

You must be a mind reader. I’ve just been looking for a hatch to do the same thing. The gas door is a great size but when fully loaded it’s useless. What size is it and where’s it from if you don’t mind. Lpg fitter said it wasn’t a good idea to break into the “sealed gas box”. As the gas is heavier than air I can’t see much of a problem.
