Just fitted some new cab door speakers and mostly wishing I hadn't. JBL Stage 3 627 2-way coaxial in Ducato 2025. Unaware that I could buy cable adapters I snipped off the connector plugs and attached spade connectors. I added a load of sound deadening and damping while I was at it. However, I have several problems.
1. I don't know which cables are +ve/-ve. Multimeter VDC testing on the cables was inconclusive.
2. The sound is pretty awful still at the moment. Either one or both speakers could be wired the wrong way. The a-pillar tweeters (hidden in blinds) now seem overpowering (too much tweeter now with the coaxial tweeter in the JBL's?). I'd like to try disabling them to see what the sounds is like without them - any tips on getting at them through the Remis blinds?
3. I want to reinstate the OEM connectors and try some alternative speaker setups. However I've managed to lose one of the connectors and for the life of me can't find them online. Any ideas? Endless results for adapters but no plugs - pic attached.
Many thanks!

Good morning,

I've just installed a new head unit and all the cables, GPS etc from Dynamic Sounds. If you give them a call they should be able to sort you out with the connectors. I had a few issues choosing what head unit to put in and they advised me from buying to installing.

Cheers

Thanks. I actually bought the speakers from them. I contacted them but they can't supply the connectors.
They ventured that black stripe wires are usually - ve.

That surprises me about the connectors, still was worth a try. Hope you get it sorted.
