I'm sure I would have used less water using the hosepipe rather than buckets of water to clean the roof, and I probably wouldn't have got myself soaked either !

I hate roof cleaning! Walking around on a wet slippery surface, with sheer drops on all sides I wonder every time why I bother. I later remember the black lines that streak down the sides of my white van. Vanity! Thats what makes me do it.

You could buy a battery power washer which feeds from a bucket. I bought one from Temu. Came with all the kit and two batteries for £27 and works really well.

Isn't rain that wet substance that leaves you looking like a drowned rat again ? but I take your point !

I totally agree with you. Trust me on that one.

Ooo that looks nasty, can't figure out which part of the anatomy that is but it looks painful. Just another question, how do you clean under the solar panel ? there is only about a 20mm gap under mine.

I don’t understand why anybody would walk on a roof to clean it.

I take ours to a local hand car wash. Picow road Car Wash by the Council recycling facility (the tip!) in Runcorn. They have a convenient set of concrete stairs that allows them to pressure wash the roof. Complete wash and wax for £30.

I've just used Autoglym Caravan and MOHO Cleaner for the first time. Sprayed it on left for 10 mins agitated with brush a little and washed off. Amazing, no black marks or any green stuff left on the roof.

Can highly recommend.
