To all you sun birds out there flocking to the southern territories where the heat touches furnace degrees - I don’t know how you do it . I’m suffering in the high 20s and 30s - pretty sure we’ll never venture where it’s soooo hot

I've never understood the idea sunbathing. 20° C is more than enough. Tried to fabricate a door pillar section this morning but was beaten by the heat. Bring back the frosty mornings.

We are sitting in the camper on the drive this afternoon after turning on the aircon this morning. Inside the van started at 31 degrees and is now down to 23. Bliss!

As a younger man I could tolerate and lie in the sun in whatever the temperature in order to get my holiday tan. Now shade is my friend and a nice early 20’s degrees is plenty hot enough.

The weather here is perfect and always a nice breeze 😀

Not holiday weather unless it's at least 30°🤣
Sitting out in the sunshine at Hereford in a pleasant 30°
Only 28 degrees here opening the van fridge does not have the same effect as the house fridge with the whoosh of cold air
It’s 29 degrees here at Hereford.

Just trying to weigh up the benefits of walking the dog in the heat versus watching him bursting for a pee. 🤷‍♀️
I let him use the hedge...

Van on drive with all doors n window open smell of gas nearly gone
But the van is an oven

Same here we cannot cope with too much sun and heat, it doesn’t help that SHMBO had skin cancer and insists on wearing factor 100 😝

I'm ginger and can't stand the sun, guess where we are going for Julie's birthday in a fortnight................. torremalinos for a week the only good bit the hotel is air conditioned (y) :giggle: and they say lager is two pound a pint.

Agreed, I'm sat in the kitchen with a fan aimed at me.
It's 28° outside and 27 in here.
Sweating like a pig in a butchers shop.

31° here in Woodhall Spa….. Sat outside in the shade all day. Nice breeze and quite comfortable. Smudge simply laid underneath the van and was quite happy

Got her in Doncaster we have a big fan running flat out just tolerating it
31 degrees
Was going to Change the battery on the e-bike but it to hot to even do that.
To think I used to work in temperatures like this
Over seas.
With 80% humidity retirement got a lot going for it

I don't understand some people 🤔

Earlier I took a desperate call from a neighbour who hates heat and it 32c outside, "can you come quick" she said, "your place is always cool and mines boiling"

I pop down there, the paving stones are red hot (just remember that if your walking your dog) and there's her house with ALL her windows and doors open and she sits there weeping!

How many times do you have to tell a person that the double glazing that keeps the cold out, also keep the heat out!

I often wake up at 05.00 these light mornings and I open the window & doors for the cool breeze.

2hrs later, I close them ALL and keep them closed until the next morning, Simples!

I enjoy the sunshine, the world looks better but too much heat, you can keep.

It's supposed to be 34c here tomorrow. 😥

8degrees here but with the wind chill factor it feels like 2. Not a bad view though. Another unpronounceable place in Iceland. We’re in the Western Fjords at the moment and I would have to say I do prefer my roads with a tarmac topping. A bit fussy I know.
