Great, I wrote it out again before seeing your reply. As you can see, I now cook them at 180° as I find they come out better than at 190°, but you probably need to experiment as not all air fryers are equal. To assist Barriesimpson whilst he's travelling, here is his destructions from a previous enquiry:
Equipment: one air fryer, one teaspoon, one larger spoon for moving around (not you, rather the potatoes).
Ingredients for 2 people: 2 or 3 large potatoes, one teaspoon of dried garlic, one teaspoon of dried onion (flakes?), a few pinches of Maldon sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, a good squirt of extra virgen olive oil.
Cut up the potatoes into small squares 2-3cm. Toss in olive oil, salt, garlic, onion and black pepper in a large bowl until thoroughly coated.
It is better if you preheat the air fryer for a few minutes, but I don't usually bother to be honest, I just shake the spuds around every 5 minutes. So that's up to you.
Add the potatoes to the air fryer basket and set to 190ºC for 20 minutes. You need to shake them around every now and again so they go crispy. Once done you can keep them in a bowl while you cook some ribs for example, and them throw them back into the basket and give them 3 minutes @ 200ºC to crisp them up.
