Irritatingly the selector switch (part 403 in the attached picture) on our Dometic RM 7360 fridge has cracked and we are having to select power or gas source using a set of pliers. I've looked all over online and it's no longer manufactured. There are a few variations, but none are the correct length.

This is driving me nuts as you'd no doubt imagine, given the motorhome is only 14 years old. Every time something breaks it's the same old story.

Anyway, can anyone suggest an alternative, based on their experience? If there was a 3D printer pattern available, for example, I'd pay to have one printed.

Does item 403 have a part number? as to being 14 years old if you check on Jacksons replacement chart many fridges are out of production before they make it into a motorhome!

Can you not open the crack and put some superglue into it ?

smallg ,Have you tried www.leisureshopdirect.com their shop seems to show one in stock (Dometic part No 233059)
Cheers GeoffnDee - unfortunately that's the shorter version - there are two, my part number is 282569 which is out of stock. I've tried these, Leisure Spares, Jacksons Leisure Supplies, FixPart and a few others. Left some messages with caravan/MH breakers, too.

I tried expoxy as it's about as strong as it gets once dried and thought it would form a solid coating, but the plastic is too fragile and the inside of the connector's worn.

Thanks.

Turns out that the shorter switch (Dometic part No 233059) is OK for selecting LPG/Battery/Hookup, although it looks daft, being recessed into the fridge. Not bothered about cosmetics on my old van so that's me sorted.

Thanks everyone for your help!
