No dark mode here - plus, layout of forum has changed (side panels "missing")

Do you mean the blue menu on the left? Now, at all screen sizes, that is only activated when you click the hamburger menu item top left. Once you choose an item, it gets out of your way.
 
No icon on my Win 11 Laptop or Android phone.

Jim, whilst you're at it, can you get them to sort out the filters, no matter how many times I tick 'Unread threads' and set it as default it doesn't work (phone and laptop), it's a pain as it does it initially but then if I click on What's New again they read ones still appear so no point in having the option as all it does is irritate.

The Dark mode has now made Usernames very difficult to read, as an example :

I find it very hard to make out the name in that dark blue.

Additionally, hyperlinks in text don't have anything to distinguish them, it just looks like normal white text.

Appreciate that you are constantly aiming for a moving target!
 
My dark mode icon turned In to a “cog” after choosing light mode 👍

Edit, think it’s meant to be a sun /light. All good on iPad running 17.6.1 and on iPhone in landscape

But I’m also missing “What’s new” on Iphone

No icon on samsung phone in landscape mode. Prefs set to light mode.
Stuck in dark mode, don't like it, don't want it, why can't things be left alone?

I put my phone on today and it almost blinded me wondering what the hell was happening can’t seem to get back to the screen I am used to

That’s me sorted it’s back on dark mode going to have to get the teabags out to bath my eyes it’s like having a welding flash that light mode :ROFLMAO: :oops::gum: Going to have to open my phone with sunglasses in case it happens again :rofl:

For those who want to come out of the dark you can change it, on a laptop/PC anyway, in your account.

Click on your User ID at the top right, then on Preferences in the list on the left:

You'll then find at the top is a choice to set the screen display type:

I've just had a shuftie on my phone and if you follow the info I gave above ref looking at your preferences you should be able to change it there ... I certainly can.
