Hi Top
Exp
Hit the road in 2014
I thought i would try out the fulli tag for my next visit to France, when completing the application form I came across the categories and mine appeared to fit in the class 2 category between two and three meters high. I thought to be on the safe side I would measure the van which is CI with an overhead cab and it turned out to be three meters ten centimeters, I contacted Fulli who advised me that my vehicle was classed as a class three and could supply me with a tag so be aware if you are driving with an overhead cab and have a fulli tag

Even though fulli class you as a 3 I bet you never get that class applied by the toll booths.
I did very similar to you as got new van that was over 3m, they stated it would not work with their tag blah, I was going to return it and get something else but kept it to see what I would get charged having established the cost of class 2 and 3 over the honfleur bridge. Charged class 2 for the full week in France.
I would use the tag as class two.

Thats what i was thinking of doing as it is only 10 centimeters over

You’re just too honest, we are probably a bit higher with the a/c box but called it 3m. Been away since May, everything seems to be fine, and they cover Italy too.

We are easily over 3m on ours with AC unit and also being a tag axle and 5t, but we are still charged as class 2 with our fulli tag, wouldn't worry about it to be honest. Last year we went through over 20 tolls from Spain to France with no issues.

You only pay I think €2.50 for the moth you use the tag in, pay on a non euro charging card and it is almost free

I never get let through the French toll booths as they all measure the height! (We are 3.35m)

Wish they would concentrate on axles and not bloody height! 🤪

We have used a toll Tag from SANEF for over 15 years, without problems, when travelling in France.

In September we are intending to visit Spain and Portugal and have seen the Fulli Tag can be used in France, Spain and Portugal.

Has anyone used it in all three? Was it trouble free.

It works in Italy as well.

Yes I have.. very easy apart from the French not liking the height of my Motorhome. 🤦‍♂️

We used our Fulli tag in France, Spain & Portugal earlier this year with no problems at all.

One thing to be aware of with the Fulli tag (and so that you don't worry when nothing shows on your Fulli account), is that as it is French based , the other countries only invoice Fulli once a month, so whereas tolls in France show up on your account very quickly, any tolls for Spain or Portugal won't show up until around the first week or 10 days, of the following month. I presume it would be the same for Italy.

Just a quick question can you pay this through a UK bank account?
We pay ours through our Natwest bank account with no problems. You need to have an IBAN number.

Neither my Lloyds nor Santander worked. I used Revolut. I believe Starling works but with the Euro account. I don’t think Nationwide works either. It’s to do with SEPA.
Lloyds worked fine for me using IBAN.
Poor exchange rate (1.08) but I generally avoided toll roads so not a big deal.

As I recall, they took a test payment when I first setup last year but I was a little nervous...

That’s how I first set ours up but quickly set up a revolut card for better rates

Glad it didn’t work for me then! Revolut works great and the exchange rate is good as well of course. Even Italian toll roads are rough so wouldn’t want the non toll in some places..

Our fulli didn't work when we tried to use it in France and it was our first time on tolls so very stressful! We had had trouble setting it up as our bank accounts wouldn't accept sepa payments. Ended up opening a euro account which we thought had worked but maybe it was that...or we are 3650kg. Who knows but we just used our monzo card to tap in and out last trip with no issues and charged class 2 on the ones I noticed. I am thinking of getting another one as would be easier but don't know whether to give fulli again or bip and go. Going to Italy next

Stick with Fulli they have a subscription of Fulli Nomade that includes Italy. Sorting out the payment arrangements can be a pain but worth doing. Fulli customer services are very good, contact them in English via your account page. https://www.fulli.com/en/help-contact

Open a revolut card for trsvel and use the section to pay fulli, you get weeks after a trip to top up the balance befire payment is taken. And you get really good rstrs with revolut.
As Kups has said the help services are really good.
Ps you will get charged as class two

Yes, I use a Starling card now, used to use Revolut, both work ok with Fulli.

It is. Italy very slow in billing through Fulli, but probably the cheapest of the four countries.

Would my Caxton fx card work?

I use Caxton as well, and find it very good. However, I wouldn't use it for this, and Caxton advise against setting up (what is in effect) direct debit payments against the card.

Does it have a Euro account?
Do you have an IBAN number for the account ?
Is Caxton a Bank ?

If the answer to all three is yes, then not a problem.
As long as you have an IBAN number you can try.

If not, set up an account with Starling, who are currently still top of the pile as best online Bank.
They pay the highest rate of interest if you keep over £5k in the account.

Just check that you can open a Euro account as I know they were limiting the number of new Euro accounts over the last few months.
(I think they got swamped with new applications)

Hi all

Does anyone know how long it takes for Fulli to deliver the physical tag to a Uk address once the application is accepted and they create the account and it’s confirmed ?

Thanks
