I left it with the wife. How has it been going?
I purchased a Wahoo Element Roam unit with all the kit for training etc, it does have satnav capability but have yet to use it. Has any one tried the Satnav on this type of kit? It also transfers my route to Strava with all the details so I could brag to my friends.......
I do the same process but you do have to be a Strava Premium member for drawing the route. I also use a Garmin Touring Plus which is basically a cut down Garmin 820. Loads of fun in France when it took us deep into a forest on Ile D'Oleron trying to use tracks rather than roads and promptly lost the signal. I'm reminded everytime we go out by Mrs Tandem about getting lostYes i use a Bolt for my rides, often using the GPS like today. So many nice features including route to start, rerouting and Strava segments.
Your Roam with it’s bigger screen is even better suited to GPS routing.
I plan my routes in Strava or import them in GPX format. It’s a seamless process from Strava to Elemnt, just create and then synch. For MTB routes i often copy them from apps like All Trails or similar.
