Interestingly Jon 24v 200ah seem to be standard fit from Concorde on the truck chassis, of course you can join these in parallel up to 4 batteries totalling 800ah @24, don't forget doubling the volts doubles the wattage (actual power) capacity so one battery is equivalent to around 400ah @12v, I think K&D have a single at 360ah 12v.I'm really interested to know what size lithium you re running on? and does it do it?

Hi JonYes very interesting are they going through a master volt charger from the engine alternator and then distributing 12v or 230 as appropriate/available?
Good morning Martin. Interesting idea because the voltage drop would always be less but have you seen the price of 24volt Lithiums <Broken link removed>Hi Jon
I talked to a Mastervolt guy at MORELO factory a few years ago, he was extolling the virtues of 24v or even 48v, they had a VW transporter with 24v alternator fitted and about 8 lithiums in the back, the amount of power was insane but was just a show vehicle. They were all running 24v solar and 24v/240v inverter then the house supply was 24v/12v step down.

No different to 12v Lithiums £ per Watt.Good morning Martin. Interesting idea because the voltage drop would always be less but have you seen the price of 24volt Lithiums <Broken link removed>
Definitely, width for one. My choice of RVs would be very limited due to where I live. I also think the style and build quality of the European Liner far exceeds most RV's.I don't think it's just about space v cost, there are many more things to consider when deciding RV or European A class.
I can understand that, for instance we are in the process of renovating the interior of ours, quality leather seating, Quartz not Corian worktops etc (similar in weight). I can't fault the exterior style of the Liner class be it Morrello, Concorde N&B there lovely!Definitely, width for one. My choice of RVs would be very limited due to where I live. We went on the Concorde configurator and kind of copied what we had on our previous Liner 990G.So it did not take long nor was it difficult. I did run our spec regarding the generator and just one lithium battery with some members on this forum. But that was after we had ordered it but thinking back if my choices were wrong, I am sure Mr Niesmann would have advised.P.S. How long did it take Martyn for you to compile the van spec and was it a difficult process?

Not long back from Niesmann caravaning with this and not a lot being posted on here regarding Concorde
Hi Martyn, that's a mighty fantastic looking van and thanks for posting the pics up.
I'm really liking the look of the interior as it just oozes quality. It is certainly a very polished product IMO so you must be well chuffed with your new purchase.
I've become a bit too Morelo-focused in recent months but you can certainly see from your own fit-out pictures just how both marques are competing for the top slot.
I'm really impressed sir and I reckon there are many of us on here who want to hear more about the van and its usability while on your adventures.
Keep the updates coming.
Love it!!
Andrew
We were very impressed with the service and the frankness of Niesmann Caravanning when we visited. We went on the Concorde configurator and kind of copied what we had on our previous Liner 990G.So it did not take long nor was it difficult. I think they all get modified and personalised Jon some via the extensive/expensive options list at the factory others by the owners themselves, I doubt that a standard van has ever left the factory of either Concorde or MORELO and one persons mods would very rarely suit another 100%.Don't forget the modifications Andrew!
Rumours abound that Morelo are considering the Funflair edition

Yes big shame about the virus of course you could have had butchers. Yes very different to our 2004 Liner which I understood the electrical system (sparks by trade) this one I haven't a clue.Shame about the virus as I would be asking for a butchers at yours Martyn to see how Concorde have moved on from our 2005 model.
If you had a 2004 Concorde Liner then you obviously have a long history with the brand and be able to make a good comparison.
I imagine electronically so much more sophisticated than the older ones but the interior of yours is absolutely stunning.
Don't forget the modifications Andrew!

. I want to live there.
I assume you mean the MH and not Joy seeing as you posted straight after her!Wow, what a bird. Looks very Plush indeed - Enjoy.![]()
"funfair edition" If they did I wouldn't want oneIt wouldn't surprise me at all JonI think Martin has probably helped sell a few Morelos recently with all of his useful posts.
................but now he has some stiff competition with Martyn and his new Concorde![]()
If only they did posh wheels like that for all you Morelo boys eh funflair Mr porky Coastal Cruiser. and whoever else (the list is getting longer by the day) has gone one!! Oh and for the owner of another Morelo on its way to England![]()
