This weekend I got a DAB radio to use in the van, the adaptor is 230vlt to 6vlt, is it possible to get a 12vlt to 6vlt adaptor so I can use a 12vlt socket ?

Thanks

Dave

Thanks Brian,

I was after one to fit a 12vlt socket in the van not a cigar lighter.

That's tricky then, the only common (in terms of mass production) 12V socket is the cigarette lighter one or DIN equivalent and DIN ones are not yet common.

You may have to make up a cigarette to whatever-socket-you-have adapter. I've made a few DIN to Cigarette ones for this reason.

Here's one you could cut the plug off....
