Lovely rich chocolate cake that really is a 5 minute cake! 2 mins to prepare and 3 mins in the microwave!

Don't think it matters - I use olive oil but then I use olive oil for everything - Domestic Goddess I am NOT! :Rofl1:

I shall be trying this next week in the van, its half term and we are down in the New Forrest the kids love chocolate cake will have to buy some custard

Wherever you are, I'm on my way. Love choc cake usually have one in the van bought from Mercadona, but bet not as good as yours:Laughing:

Isabel has made the choccy cake in a mug.
Shes eaten some and Jacobs eating the rest. Isaacs too busy on the xbox.
Its gone down well.
Just make sure that you use a BIG cup.
Cos theres quite a lot of it.
I used a large starbucks coffee mug and the cake rose up , as you said , like a soufflé!! So if you've only got small cups , split the mix in two, or you'll end up with a mess in the microwave.
I didn't have a table spoon so Isabel put heaped spoons of the dry stuff and put an extra spoon of oil in the wet mix .
We will definitely do it again.
Now infact,
as Isaacs just come down and wants to make one :thumb:
