€32.64 not including tip. No puds?
I refrained from a pud, being on a reduced sugar diet and strong willed.

And then rewarded myself with a scoop of Pistachio Ice Cream and an Espeesso coffee on the way home

We've driven to Lake Iseo which was one Eddie Judgemental's favourite holiday haunts - he loved it here, the only problem being he had to drive through France to get here.

We're staying at Eddies favourite campsite - Camping Covelo, which is right on the banks of Lake Iseo

We rode the short distance into Iseo Town

If you've got another night then check out Locanda dei Borghesi.

It's tucked away down a little alleyway and it doesn't look like much from the outside but everything about it is spot on (y)

The ice cream and two coffees was only €3:70
Might have another tomorrow after our epic 62km bike ride round the lake

We had lunch there a few weeks ago but I can't remember prices.

Since May 05 (Ex Tuggers).
Lots of local BBQ type places offering good quality food at low prices
About £12 for a big mixed grill for two.
Wine and beer also cheap
No wonder my guesses have been way out. You've been dining "Arty Farty". :( ..................

Pizza was it.? Dead cheap is that. Against my better judgement, I reckon 150 Kunha. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

We woke to a beautiful sunny morning and rode the short distance to Sulzano to catch the ferry to Menteisola island.

image.jpeg

It's the largest inhabited lake island in Europe.
image.jpeg

On arrival we enjoyed a 'craft' beer in a harbour side cafe, which was served with slices of salami and a hefty bill
image.jpeg

We then rode round the island - being virtually free of vehicles it was a very pleasurable journey

We decided to have a 'special' lunch as we were lucky to be in such a beautiful and romantic location.

image.jpeg

The view from the restaurant terrace, over the lake below was breathtaking and set the tone for the meal which followed.

For appetiser we were served black rice, with cherry tomatoes and prawns.
image.jpeg

With home baked walnut or poppy seed bread and and a bottle of ice cold mineral water.

For first course we had pasta with tomato sauce with cheese.

image.jpeg

Which we paired with a bottle of local white wine.

For main course we had a seafood platter, which included Seabass, Salmon, Octopus, Prawn and grilled veggies - drizzled with aged Balsamic vinegar.

image.jpeg

For desert we had Tiramisu - served with a glass of desert wine.

image.jpeg

We finished the meal with a couple of Espresso Coffee's

Can you guess the bill? (In €)
