I gave Waze another try yesterday and got it up and running .. maybe poor phone signal when I tried before.
I then gave it a test drive locally, navigation was good, instructions clear, it does what it says in the tin.. It flagged up potholes that I'm aware of and gave speed warnings when tested ..
but to be honest, I found it a bit too busy and I think aimed at a younger generation .. perhaps it's just me getting old and set in my 'Waze'
Then I tried to plan a longer trip with several stops using the Newhaven/Dieppe ferry to France , and I couldn't find how to do it.. it can only do one step at a time.. maybe just me, but Google maps are excellent for planning a trip on a laptop or other device and saving, then sending to your phone when required ..
I use Apple Car Play and both apps work fine.. but for now anyway, I'll stick with Gmaps ..
