Using a VPN & Three network (1 Viewer)

We use a VPN when abroad so that we can watch British TV on the internet and it doesn't know we're not in the UK. I'm wondering whether it will also fool the Three network on our mifi into thinking we're in the UK. Anyone go any idea about that?

no it wont fool 3, as the connection is via a cell tower, then that is connected to a server locally. this local server can be masked using a vpn for websites, but not from the service provider

Use FilmOn , all tv channels, don't need a vpn.

Yes we've used it before when staying in an apartment in Spain. We like iplayer because of catch up. We have a permanent VPN anyway so we can get either. Thanks though. M
