Just looked at the weather forecast for the next week not looking to good where is all the sunshine we was promised

I am at Taillbourg, just up from Saintes, yesterday the morning weather was cold, ie 19C at noon, but warmed up to about 22C in the afternoon. Today I am sitting here in the rain, the temp is about 13C and it looks very dreary, however, sunshine is forecast for tomorrow. After that it looks as though the temperature will gradually build up to 27C by Wednesday, then there will be another sharp fall.

Hard to believe it was 37C last weekend!

We are east of Twinlakes, near Limoges, 20% cloud cover, siting out with a Pain au Chocolate, 15^C shorts and a T shirt feels very warm

Oh that is so, so sad for you and us. You will both be missed. Jean and myself hope you get sorted soon and head for a quick recovery.
Very best wishes from us both.

what bait can we use on the pools ?
More or less whatever you want. Pineapple boilies are going well. I use King Prawns from the local supermarket. Sweetcorn on the top lake for carp, or floating bread...and are they good at sucking it off the hook without you even noticing.

Just had fantastic meal at Restaurant La Bergerie in the village of Nieuil L'espoir, but it cost an arm and a leg. Simon researched the wine when we got back to the van and what we paid €32 is available locally for €6.95.:eek::eek:. Sacre bleu.

As I now only have one arm and one leg I will be mainly hopping when I get to Twin Lakes, I will not be able to do a Mexican Wave either‍♂️ it was a lovely meal though, hats off to the buffalo mozzarella with basil ice cream, and duck with mustard ice cream! New one on me!(y)

Food gets more rustic down Twin Lakes way, and the alcohol takes centre stage ... I hope you've downloaded 'Something Stupid' .....
