That's good news @JockandRita & pretty much what I would expect. It would be a poor do if a dedicated B2B didn't improve on an EBL alone.

My take on this is:-
Split charge system - barely adequate for a serious motorhomer.
EBL - works well for most people, but can be improved on.
B2B - best performance for the power hungry who need max charge rate from short engine running time. Pretty much essential if you have to run the engine for no other reason than to charge the batteries e.g. a long weekend with no EHU or solar.

We got 5-6 weeks on aires + the odd site.
