Can anyone tell me what this gauge is for. It is clearly non-standard. Might it be a LPG level indicator for the LPG tank that serves the cooker and heating system? If not, any other ideas?

No idea, but welcome to the forum anyway. I am sure someone will be along in a minute who will know what it is.

The gauge certainly could be for a fixed bulk lpg tank ..

Try filling the tank and see if the reading changes or trace the wiring from the from the gauge.

the bottom triangle is a warning that something is not running , the 4 symbols with brackets after them would indicate 4 stages of a motor or a pump running , it looks like part of your heating system to me

Thanks to everyone for your ideas. Enword got it - it IS the gauge for the LPG. It's a relief to know. No doubt I'll be back with another tom-fool question!
