Ibérico pork might be €20 a slice. :) I'm going wild and guess €110 given the hint.

After a wonderfully peaceful night, we woke early this morning and headed across the dam and into Spain

As we left Portugal we realised that this was the end of our adventure, as we began heading North on the journey home.

We came to Portugal in search of some summer sun, which we found in abundance, in fact more than we could cope with at times.

We also came looking for Port Wine, which we found all along the Douro river valley, along with many other wonderful wines.

The places we've visited along the way have been been attractive and the locals welcoming.

The food has been great and every meal time has been an adventure in itself.

Well it's time to get back to normality now, with maybe one final treat on the way home - if we can find some Oystrrs and a nice bottle of chilled French white wine to accompany them.

Thanks for your kind comments and suggestions.

Hope you enjoyed northern Portugal as much as we did.

Bye for now !
