Since purchasing my own Kindle 3G I have subscribed to the Kindle Daily Deal, whereby users are offered a heavily discounted book each day....for one day only. In all honesty I have availed myself of very few of these titles due in the main to either the obscurity of the author (short sighted of me, I know) or a genre in which I am not interested.
The daily offer today carries this rider "Please note this book is only available on Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD, Kindle for iPad and Kindle for Android".
So, even if I wished to buy this offering, I would not be able to do so, owning only a 3G. Is this an ominous sign of things to come? Will this be applied, gradually, to all Kindle books in the future forcing the purchase of other readers in the growing Kindle range ? Or, am I being paranoid?
Regards, Bryan
