Chester fairoaks for us. Then a early morning taxi to the train station to catch the "Cornish Rivera express" for a grand day out to Penzance and back.
    Bring it on :)

First time taking Granddaughter and her brother away since she got Leukaemia, nearly 2 years, she is now doing well and has permission to travel a bit further. We have managed to ditch the parents so we intend to have a ball.

In between trips. We come back from Cornwall on 28th April then on the ferry to Spain on 8th May. But living where we do we tend to stay indoors on bank holidays but might venture into the garden for a BBQ if the weather is nice. The joys of old age and retirement I guess. :)

Did I mention that some time during the week I will be collecting three month's worth of tablets from the pharmacy for our trip away?

All things being well (well me really).

Dawn and I have the May Bank Holiday booked at Roundhill Campsite in the New Forest.

It will be our first run out in the new-to-us-RV, Liberty.

It's an easy one for us - we live five miles from the campsite.

May I wish us all a warm, dry and sunny Bank Holiday.

I am so looking forward to being allowed out to play...

Opted for 3 days in a rented cottage somewhere in the land of the prince bishops.

No point in bringing the caravan out of hibernation for what may be the only time this year due to surgery and long recovery.
