Now I have seen how many others on here are off to the Western Isles in May, I reckon I am going to set off early myself (y):)
I love the western isles. Have a wonderful time.

In between trips. We come back from Cornwall on 28th April then on the ferry to Spain on 8th May. But living where we do we tend to stay indoors on bank holidays but might venture into the garden for a BBQ if the weather is nice. The joys of old age and retirement I guess. :)

Did I mention that some time during the week I will be collecting three month's worth of tablets from the pharmacy for our trip away?

All things being well (well me really).

Dawn and I have the May Bank Holiday booked at Roundhill Campsite in the New Forest.

It will be our first run out in the new-to-us-RV, Liberty.

It's an easy one for us - we live five miles from the campsite.

May I wish us all a warm, dry and sunny Bank Holiday.

I am so looking forward to being allowed out to play...

Opted for 3 days in a rented cottage somewhere in the land of the prince bishops.

No point in bringing the caravan out of hibernation for what may be the only time this year due to surgery and long recovery.

We'll be away somewhere. Not sure where yet.

It's looking like it will either be Lyndon Top or 3 different Britstops.

We don't venture out far bank hol weekends. Tend to use it for diy or just relaxing locally. Find the roads and sites far too congested. Can't wait tho as it means we're getting closer to the first of this years france jollies :D :cycle::france::wine:

Just back from Lyndon top ourselves, mixed weather but a cracker today and fairly good ground conditions

it's our default campsite as plenty of room and no need to book, also fairly local (y)
