As a height guide we can kneel normally when wandering round it. I have seen others that look like you could barely slide into them.

As there is only 3 of us and we have a 5 berth we tend not to use it to often, when we take one of sophie's friends with us they both sleep up there. Ours has a good size bed but little hieght, I have also used it my self and found it to be really comfy but trying to undo the net at 2 am when your desperate for a pee isnt a good idea.

I have always slept up there in all our vans.. Present one, I sleep up there and woman 26 ft away in the top bunk bed at tother end !
we use ours all the time. Nikki and I sleep up there, Nikki squashed in to the far side of course.:thumb:
great nights sleep, however when you drink too much its a pain in the arse to nip to the loo in the middle of the night, much easier to go out the window.

yep:thumb::thumb:Our Luton in the Hymer was massive and I loved sleeping up there. Now we just make up a bed in the U-shape. This one doesn't look as big.
Off-topic, Ray did you get my pm today? Not sure it went.

Gaffa Tape a "Funnel" just outside the opening window with a hose fixed to it running to [HI]an old milk bottle[/HI] on the ground...

We used to always use the fixed bed Hilda. Then we decided we should try the overcab. Brilliant!!! bigger and warmer, we use it all the time now:thumb:
I don't use the net tho instead I take half a Viagra at bedtime that stops me rolling out.

I can recommend an American RV best bed room set up youl ever findYup, we sleep in/on it. Making up the L-shaped on a nightly basis would drive me bananas. And it isn't half or even a quarter, as comfy as the proper mattress in the luton. However I have to get up several times a night, I should give up drinking anything after teatime LOL - and Pete now gets up at least once. He sleeps on the inside which would be too claustrophobic for me.
Plus so we can leave the ladder in situ we have to leave the bathroom door open all night (can't open it with ladder in place) and the whole thing is getting to be a PITA so we are 'wondering' about a fixed bed now.
Which was very odd really, because we always made up the caravan bed every single night; it never was a problem at all - and it was the only feature we were both adamant about prior to purchase, we didn't want a fixed bed cos they are a waste of space .......
