We have just updated to a bigger van, so our Lunar Moonstar 570 is now for sale

It is the 2008 model with the upgraded 3 litre engine and 6 speed manual gearbox. So a very powerful engine in a relatively small package mean that it can cruise happily all day at 70mph without breaking a sweat, even if towing

The motorhome benefits from a family friendly layout with four seat belted travel seats. And a very clever moveable seating arrangement which converts between a double dinette and two long sofas for lounging.

The specification includes
  • 3.5m Fiamma awning,
  • CD/Radio/MP3 with Bluetooth,
  • Central locking,
  • Electric windows,
  • Power Steering
  • Cab air conditioning
  • Full towbar & electrics
  • Twin gaslow refillable LPG tanks
  • Both driver and passenger seats swivel,
  • Extra swivelling round table
  • Fridge freezer,
  • Full oven,
  • 4 burner gas hob,
  • Gas and electric blown air heating,
  • Gas and electric hot water,
  • Large heki rooflight,
  • Large Onboard water tank,
  • Toilet with extra cassette,
  • TV Aerial
  • New tyres just fitted
  • New leisure batteries just fitted
  • New Engine battery fitted a couple of months ago
  • This is a 5.7m long van, as in the 570 model number
  • 3500kg
Everything works as it should and has been well maintained. I am certain this motorhome will give its new owners many happy trouble free years of motorhoming

PRICE NOW REDUCED TO £22500 ovno for quick sale as new van is ready to be collected

Thankyou Cat, we have looked after the van well and it suited us well for the last few years. Only selling as upgrading to a bigger van

Well we have had all sorts of questions asked and a couple of different people trying to get a bank loan to buy our motorhome. However, it is still here and unsold and we really need to pick up our new van.

So we have drastically dropped the price. So long as we get more than the trade are offering, we would be happy

So many time wasters and penniless dreamers on eBay, it was beginning to seriously wind me up. So today I sold my motorhome to a dealer at just above trade price.
Sadly there were a couple of people who would of bought it, but couldn't raise quite enough but that's life
Anyway, onwards and upwards, our new van is ready to collect

Pleased you sold it and are ready for the new van.
We sold our last van on ebay without any problems , we found all the time wasteres came from Gumtree & Prelove adds.

We are trading the current van as we have been offered a price higher than we could hope to sell privatly not much less than we paid for it. Also offsets the exchange rate risk (Belgium dealer).

Wasn't intending to but got a deal I couldn't refuse. The current van is OK but would be nice to have a better kitchen, more payload (already uprated to 3850) bigger garage and bigger tanks. At Caravan Salon Hymer were supporting dealers for exsisting customers upgrading, spoke to a UK Carthago dealer trade in was over £10k less.
