Just to keep this thread going (yawn) is that a Pitbull Terrier pup? Put one of those on a scooter and even North Korea would be worried.

GT750 at 18.

And got a great pic of Granty at Olivers Mount in 1979. Just after a certain Mr Sheene passed him.

Had a GT 250 and a GT750 kettle. 750 was a great bike if you ignored the rubber frame and the rubbish brakes, but good for its time.(y)

Hang on a minute, what has this got to do with mobility scooters?

Always amazed me how slow those stair lifts are.. MUST be a a way to speed them up ! I think that is I should ever have to have one fitted ( god forbid ) I would def be in there with the screwdriver !!!

Pauline has one.
Youngest granddaughter (7) thinks she's in charge of demo to everyone.
Youngest grandson (7) thinks its a fairground ride.
Eldest grandson (9) wants to know how much they cost, because they're cool and he wants one!

That was your Raleigh chopper bike with a lawnmower engine nailed on to it, wasn't it?

Probably worth a bob or two nowadays as a "ahem" classic. Jaws or Yorick would be positively gagging to ride one. Not

Hi g8ysn.
We had a puppy that did this,"Wilfy" a Border Collie,SOON Wilfy grew and became....... "WILFY the WOLF!!!.(I think he was plugged into the National electricity grid !) When needing to cross a busy road in a hurry with "WW" near the centre of the road he would remember his "Good game with daddy" I can look back on those happy days,of me dragging a fully grown B/collie attached to my ankle across the road, with traffic closing at an alarming rate..... Happy days,"Have you seen my boots ?.... Up the garden ? LOL.

PS. Been off for a bit,Senior moment/Computor numpty,forgot password

Well we start on two wheels and end up on four wheels, one way or another.......

(Anyone notice the pathetic attempt to bring it back to topic?)

Speak for your self !
Started on 3 wheels, then went to two, then four, and nowadays fourteen !! ( six on the motorhome, two on each of the two bikes, and four on the Smarty ) ( and that number will soon be rising to sixteen as currently actively looking for a pre 1970 trials bike ! )

Yes mate, had one of those as well!! The entire motor was built into the back wheel.......Not very successful, if I remember. :(
Probably the bestest moped of the era was the Norman Nippy......Two speed!!.
