@movan's avatar reminds me of the drunk in a bar:


A drunk was sitting at a bar when a woman stands behind him and raises her arm to get the bartender's attention. She has very hairy armpits.
The drunk sees this and yells at the bartender, "Get the ballerina a drink."
She gets her drink and goes away. Later she returns and raises her arm again.
The drunk sees her and yells to the bartender, "Get the ballerina another drink."
She gets her drink and goes away again. The bartender asks the drunk how he knows she is a ballerina when she was a stranger and had never been in the bar before.
The drunk replies, "She's got to be a ballerina if she can lift her leg that high."

I do not want to ignore somebody because of there annoying avatar, or block all animated images as most are a bit of fun.

So have found that as I have AdBlock Plus installed (works with most browsers as well) if I right click on the annoying avatar then click the block element option that specific avatar image is blocked from my view , I can still read posts just without having to become grumpier as I scroll down the page. Not sure, but if the avatar changes (hopefully ) then the block is removed and I get to see the new one.
I think it's great that Life members get a special treat and perhaps it should stay that way, a treat .

Can I ask a serious question re right handed ness and left handed ness

Me being left handed I tend to focus to the right hand side
Wherass as I understand it a right handed person to focus to the left of the same picture, replace that picture with a hand held pad or computer
I view that the same

Now I don't find the moving avatars a problem because they aren't close to my focus point
And I'm just wondering if the good folk that the moving avatars annoy are right handed or left handed

Just asking like
Spose I'll get flak but hey ho nothing ventured nothing gained

PS I'm right handed, but nothing to do with that just a general grumpiness at work

I am struggling with these but hay ho just have to live with them.
That distract me a lot from my typing a post
Really struggling depending on what kind of day I am having
Its ether live with them or move on

Ha! done it! No more moving avatars
(Just noticed, the adverts don't move either)
Now I'm trawling through trying to find a link to AdBlocker so that I don't get caught out with a fake website

..... but I now skip through my online viewing instead of Shockwave crashing approx every 3 minutes, which it had started doing
Mind you, I know @Jim was working on some stuff at the same time, so getting rid of animations/ Shockwave stabilising could just be a coincidence. If so, Thank you Jim
