Well me soup was camera shy, tried the German type soup, poaching an egg in the soup, the egg wouldn't surface for the photo. Main was a rump steak.

Could you advise where this bridge is please. I fancy a stroll.
Ah, just seen, Blackforestline.
A couple of miles from Todtnau. About an hour steep uphill walk from the Stellaplatz of if you are lazy there is a car park on the West side.

Now this is what we love about Motorhoming, this town is not on the tourist trail not in the guide books and it's an absolute gem, and beer is €2 a pint cheaper than the tourist hot spots.

Those bridges you have shown in various places all look fairly new, especially the last one in The Black Forrest.
They seem to just go from one hill over to the next, so I guess its a case of Build It & They Will Come?
Best news yet, you have found a pub selling beer at sensible prices(y):giggle:
Don't rush home Lenny, the weather is only 11C at its height, here in Leafy Surrey, the whole of the South is gonna get flooded out with a heavy storm on Wednesday, and the CH is on at home, along with the long Johns, shorts have had their day until next spring.:(
Home made Leek & Potato Soup, or Lentil & Bacon is keeping us warm also.(y)
Best wishes.

The first one was to join a long distance footpath and was free to use. Opened in 2015.

The Blackforestline is just a tourist thing had to pay €12 flipping annoying had to pay for a Combi ticket for the bridge & waterfall we had already walked to the waterfall on the way.
Opened in May this year.
