was that really cooked in the Dometic or just reheated ;)

looks far too evenly browned to have been done in ours anyway, unless you turned it every few minutes (y)

Nice looking pie though Mrs C :)(y)

I said Dometic not domestic
The pie was prepared at home and put in its glass dish.
Then cooked from scratch in the van.

You're not allowed to ask is the pastry was shop bought - cos that's a secret.

For the brandy try Mascaro the best of the cheap brandies, corked top and recommended to me 20yrs ago by a 'expert'. You wont find it in Mercadona but smaller shops also found it in carrefour in Roses.

Happy and safe travels Mr & Mrs C. I have a very nice Spanish Brandy in the drinks locker for you to try, courtesy of @jumar, when you get to Totana.

We've arrived at the Eurotunnel Terminal and are waiting for the train to whisk us under the channel to France.

From there we're heading south towards Spain, but not before we've sampled some French seafood and wine on the way.

Our route then takes us to Amposta, Peniscola, Aleta, Totana and Cartagena, before heading back through central Spain. Arriving back in the U.K. in early April.

We're looking to explore parts of Spain that we've not visited before as well as re visiting some of our favourite places.

But this journey is not jus about enjoying the wonderful Spanish scenery. It's also about munching and sipping our way through the best of the culinary delights and wines that Spain has to offer.

Finally we're on a mission to find a couple of bottles of 'cheap' Spanish Brandy for my mate, and Brandy connoisseur @Scout.

Would appreciate any suggestions of places to visit and stay, or any other comments.

Thanks

Robert & Lis
Nothing like that in Newbury West Berkshire .sorry. Lol

We've arrived at Villandry (Campercontact 1542)
Despite being a new Aire it's a bit flooded, but we've managed to secure a dry spot for the night.

IMG_6782.JPG

We arrived just in time for lunch and secured a table at a quaint and bijou local establishment.

We both ordered sausages with baked potato and sour cream, served with a lambs tongue lettuce salad.

IMG_6784.JPG

We paired the earthy flavours of the sausage with a fruity flavoured bottle of red wine.

IMG_6783.JPG

To finish I ordered my one of my favourite deserts - Creme Brûlée

Can you guess the bill ?
