Apart from the different colour, it has uprated suspension and lighter forged wheels plus a single seat carbon rear end.

those would make the problem worse, my knees are at a bad enough angle as it is. Would be like a praying mantis in those.

Well I’ve had the 390 Duke from new ( dec 17 ) and it just passed its 3rd MOT this morning. It now has a grand total of 1605 miles.

Basically.
It permanently lives in the motorhome and never comes out in the wet.

My MOT is due the end of this month. The bike is on the back of the van in the garage so the next dry day I'll have to get it out, got the other pirelli str tyre to fit on the front first. Can't wait to try the tyres. Bike must have done about 7000 miles now

No apparently not, my mate has got them on his new Yamaha Tenere and they're OK. Also they get excellent reviews.

Yes I did all last year, my girlfriend rode it but she's bought a yellow Hornet 750 now. I'm keeping the Duke for the van.

She found it taller than her 690 Duke which she still had, we bought it when KTM had dropped the prices at the end of the season. Actually sold it for more than we paid for it.

I had tkc80 ( continental) on my 1100 gs .
Even chunkier than in the pic. Had great road holding feel and smooth.
Even better off road.

The whole exhaust is titanium.

The colours are a give away, having done a fair amount of titanium welding in the past I always found the colouration pleasing

Full Ti on the 890r too, I polished it all as it looks so much better. My MTB is Ti as well, also cranks and seatpost.

I need a longer chain now because the back tyre catches the swing arm plenty adjustment on it though... Tomorrow's job.

I’ve noticed the Duke390 2024 model is out, as we’re definitely selling the motorhome when we return to Blighty in 8 weeks I will also be selling the Scooter, was interested in the 390 initially but storage was limited for the shopping trips when away,
Im thinking that hopefully there is some good deals to be had on the 2023 models when I return home, would like new but just can’t get my head around giving the VAT man any money, unless of course they start giving fantastic deals on the new model

Have a look at the Honda Hornet 750. Don't get me wrong I love the Duke but the Honda is just phenomenal even easier to ride and smoooooth

Try a 650 vstrom, great engine and very comfortable to ride.

Have a look at the Honda Hornet 750. Don't get me wrong I love the Duke but the Honda is just phenomenal even easier to ride and smoooooth

MOT day had to fit a new slightly longer chain because the new back tyre is bigger got there in the end
