Your front wheel bearings are of a taper design but not the type your used to
they are not adjustable
Full strip and a min 10 ton press reqd.
Ok someone will come on and say I knock em in and out with a hammer I hope they have a very big hammer and a good supply of bearings and hubsoh:

and you definately wont have a torque wrench that can do that in yer toolbox
332 to 365 ft lbs
i knew they were well over 100ft lb but didnt realise they were that tight
Yes were in deep s**t since our 180lb man put weight on over Xmas were having to turn work away till we get a 20" barThats about the same as lorry wheelnuts - a 180lb man standing on a 2 foot bar?
Agree about the press though. The local garage has a big press and presses bearings in and out for me for a few quid.

Slight play is normal with all these models, but without seeing it is hard to say what it slight and what is excessive - but compared to a normal vehicle - there is play! I would find it hard to beleive all four are shot!
I would get it checked at a main dealer and get them to state they are fine, or MOT at a citroen/fiat/peugeot specialist that have knowledge of the permitted play.
and that would carry no weight at all.
the MOT examiner decided it was an advisory and that was his decision....nothing will change that.
and to be honest, for an advisory for a little play aint worth worrying about.
my camry had the same advisory three years running on the same anti-roll bar links....now that tells me its not wear but design clearance.
it was still an advisory though.
same examiner said id need new pads next year (not an advisory...just chatting) on my hilux....we'll see in the next couple of weeks when i do a full service!!!
he did issue an advisory for a nail in a rear tyre though..
