I am going to change to Propane so that it works better in this very cold weather. Never used propane before. Is my existing Butane regulator OK or do I need to change it?

You will have to change the regulator as the pressure in the cylinders for propane & butane are different

Not if you have the current system with a bulkhead mounted regulator. In this case all you will need to change is the pigtail (pressure hose from bottle to bulkhead regulator)
