I am going to change to Propane so that it works better in this very cold weather. Never used propane before. Is my existing Butane regulator OK or do I need to change it?

You will have to change the regulator as the pressure in the cylinders for propane & butane are different

Also the bottle adaption will be different. Propane is generally a left handed thread adapter.

Not if you have the current system with a bulkhead mounted regulator. In this case all you will need to change is the pigtail (pressure hose from bottle to bulkhead regulator)

as oldun said.......and if you have the old style bottle top regulator it will need changing but only because it wont fit.
