I currently use Propane as I know it will work at lower temperatures to Butane but I am looking at changing to refillable LPG bottles. My question is does LPG work in low temperatures like Propane or Butane. Thanks

All depends in which Country you fill up. ;)
So LPG varies by country? thought LPG at pump was LPG. I am based in Spain but will be topping up all over Europe hence need for refillable don't want to keep changing bottles from Spanish / French/ UK etc.

does anyone know which gas is cheaper wholesale as there are some strange mixtures in that link and no real correlation between the mix and temperatures of countries or do we just get 100 per cent propane becausse were willing to pay ie rip of Britain

LPG stands for Liquified Petroleum Gas and is a group name that covers several gases, butane and propane are just two within the group. In other words Butane and Propane are both LPG! Autogas is just a trade name and the gas supplied is Propane in the UK and a varying mix of Butane and Propane in other European countries.

We found that in the ALPS in winter we fill up at a high level garage
I think they add more propane to the mix for high altitude
